Hi all!
I want to put a computer in my car. The computer will have functions like GPS, security, movie player and certain multimedia features. Of course this computer will be displayed using a small touch-screen as user interface.
I'll be using ''micro ATX motherboard'' as it is small and can be fixed into the car.
Question is: WHAT IS THE CURRENT CONSUMPTION FOR THIS MOTHERBOARD??
Is it possible to operate this motherboard using car battery?? ...or we need some enhancement to boost up the current (if the current is unsufficient)??
What is the current consumption for ''micro ATX computer motherboard''??computer repair
not a good idea, as the current coming off isn't stable enough due to the alternator.
modify a laptop and plug one of them in.
take a look at the asus eee pc, I swear this is perfect for what you want it to do, and you cna put windows in.
but a micro ATX mobo can use just as much as a full ATX anywhere from .5a @240v to 5a @ at 240v
i can't believe how perfect the eeepc is
the screen will fit perfectly in a dash, the keyboard could even pop out with the touch pad
